Mitab is the largest Marine Service Center in Sweden for Volvo Penta engines. We concentrate our efforts on Volvo Penta to achieve the best possible service to users of the same. Occasionally, only when in order to serve a larger commercial customer smoothly, our engineers  also service certain other brandnames.
Owning a Volvo Penta is a choice made by the Owner of a Ship. You  deserve designation on a lifetime basis from the After Market Service Centers. Mitab has decided to do our utmost to fulfill the highest standards possible in this aspect.
From Mitab you can get an engineer on site to service or to repair your Volvo Penta engine more or less anywhere, also abroad. In regards of warranty works we help out free of cost for the Owner within a distance from our workshop designated by the Volvo Penta Worldwide Warranty Regulations, at further distance the Owner need to cover cost for additional travelling or to contact a closer situated Authorized Volvo Penta Center to achieve help.
In our workshop we carry out all kinds of engine repairs, overhauls or equipping/rebuild of engines and Gensets ordered by customers. We have two of very few dyna-benches available in Sweden for confirming output power and to verify no leakage after an overhaul. It is also very handy when searching for difficult defects.
Commercial customers may apply for emergency help 24/7. We have engineers on duty almost all year around (special holidays excluded) and a very large spare part stock  at hand. With no service agreement we do not guarantee availability, but of course we will always do our utmost to service. Outside normal hours there is an additional fee to call for assistance.
